Welcome

About Me

I have a BA in Behavioral Science and Arts and an MA in Movement Therapy (DMT). I am a certified Hakomi therapist (C.H.T) and an integral body-mind psychotherapist accompanying clients and therapists on their path. I also practice as an assistant teacher in a weekly Open Floor dance group, leaning into the wisdom of movement as a resource.

I have many years of training in various body-mind work and specialize in the fields of the fertility cycle, especially fertility treatments and birth experience, trauma, attachment, orthopedics, and pain. I have worked for more than a decade in public health institutes, such as the migraine and facial pain clinic, trauma and eating disorders psychiatric ward.

Today I meet people who wish to grow in different areas in their lives in my studio practice in Tel-Aviv for in-person or online therapy sessions. Some of the reasons to start therapy could be a sense of confusion, anxiety, and depression, past traumatic events that are vivid in the present, or the feeling that you "hit the wall" in your life and things are just not working out the way you wish they did.

A tender approach allows you to recognize automatic responses and pause. Then you can choose which strategies are nurturing for you and follow them, while also recognizing those which are no longer needed and leave them behind. Just like updating a hard drive.

You can think of the therapeutic practice as a lab where we explore, experiment and discover. The therapeutic methods are as varied as the individuals I meet: the language of words, the vocabulary of movement or mindfully sitting on the chair while exploring sensations. The goal is to allow you to live your life from a liberated and integrated space.

About Therapy

Since we were infants and throughout the years, we embraced various strategies to cope with the cards life has dealt us. Some people choose to rely on themselves alone, others develop rigid core beliefs about "how things ought to be" in relationships, or at work. Such patterns might prevent us from living our life fully and manifest differently for each person.

Therapy will potentially become a safe and nurturing ground where we softly, respectfully unveil various parts. By embodying resources you can step out of your comfort zone with less fear. Cultivating curiosity may support you on your journey by giving you the ability to witness your own experience and release memories encrypted in the cells as we carefully separate between sensation and story. You would be able to witness the impact some memories have on your present life experience, in the way you carry yourself, and how tight your muscles are in this very moment.

?When is a good moment to consider Therapy

When life just feels “too much”, when you feel stuck, when you are not sure how to bring about change but you just know that you wish it was different. Every person has their very own story of how they got to the moment that made them consider therapy.

Life holds an abundance of challenges, a constant call for flexibility. Sometimes all that can bring suffering and pain. The practice is a space where you can make room for yourself and get a supportive outlook on your life – it is a place where change happens.

Don’t drown
Grasp the nearest branch
Don’t get carried away by the river
Choose well so it’s within reach
So it holds the weight of the mind
Over time
And in the midst of a storm
Discover that you are a tree-trunk
